Appleby Sand Road Bed & Bagel
Offering a casual and homey country atmosphere of comfort and relaxation inside the city limits of Nacogdoches. You will see deer, squirrels, and many species of birds as you relax on the grounds. It is located just a minute from Stephen F. Austin State University and as we say in East Texas "just a stone's throw" from historic downtown. Rates: $65 to $90.  Bikes available upon request for $10 a day each. Inside pets are not permitted, however, an outside pen is available for your pet.

Brooks Cypress House
If you enjoy the sounds of nature and the smell of fresh pines, then this is the place for you! The Brooks Cypress House, built in 1949, is a nine room bed and breakfast that sits on 22 acres of land. When residing at the Brooks Cypress, you can enjoy the quietness of Deep East Texas without interruption. Each room at the house is equipped with its own air condition unit (which allows you to have complete control of the climate), cable television, and much more. The Extended Stay House
Sitting on a beautiful hillside surrounded by large oak trees overlooking a pretty pasture. Fifteen minutes from downtown Nacogdoches, this two bedroom one bath house is a great place to get away from it all. Rest or work in a very private setting. Inside you will find a large well equipped kitchen--dishes and cooking utensils are provided. One bedroom has a king bed and one has a queen. Linens are included. Over 2000 sq ft with satellite TV, phone, DSL wireless internet, ceiling fans, CHA, washer and dryer, and covered parking. Thirty day minimum stay. Rates begin at $55 per night for one person. Fair Breeze Bed & Breakfast
Offers guests a completely furnished, private nostalgic cottage nestled under a walnut grove overlooking 46 acres. A peaceful, romantic quiet retreat, the cottage includes a jacuzzi, queen size bed, complete kitchen, TV-VCR. Activities: horseshoes, washers, campfire, wildlife, walking trails.  No pets. Includes continental breakfast. Rate: Weekend rate $115 per couple each night with a two night minimum. Add $15 per night for each additional person. Cost is negotiable for extended occupancy. Weekday single night stay $125. Cancellation policy: Deposits will be returned if cancellation occurs 14 days prior to stay.

Haden Edwards Inn
When Texas was young, a beautiful home stood on the edge of El Camino Real. Davy Crockett galloped by; Sam Houston was baptized in the house next door. Built around 1840, the house took its name from Col. Haden Edwards, who helped win independence for Texas by leading the Fredonia Rebellion. In the 1890s the famous German architect Dietrich Rulfs put his Victorian touch by adding a 2nd story to the home. 

Private baths, queen size bed, cable TV with DVD player, free movie library, central air and ceiling fans, parlor and formal dining room, lush landscaping and gazebo, full breakfast daily. Check in 3 to 5 p.m.. Check out 11 a.m. Rates: $89 to $139 plus tax.

The Hardeman House
Take a step back in time, slow down and relax at the Hardeman House. Enjoy an evening breeze on the wrap-around porch under lazy fans while listening to the distant lonesome whistle of a train. The Hardeman House is listed on the National Historic Register and pays tribute to her surrounding town and the Republic of Texas. The parlor serves up framed historic local photos featuring other beautiful old homes in Nacogdoches. Take a minute to look back in time with an old magazine or review one or more of the many history books on Texas. Enjoy a movie in your room or in the living room at your convenience. Just relax in an amazing historic home furnished for your comfort. Take a step back. . .

A 600-acres working tree farm nestled deep in the Piney Woods of East Texas. Enjoy peaceful, serene surroundings, walk in the woods and visit each of the three historic Landmark homes. The John M. Sparks House is a Texas State Historic Landmark. The Tol Barett House is on the National Register of Historic Places in addition to being a Texas State Landmark. And the Rosewild home is also a Texas State Historic Landmark. Children and pets welcome.

Each of the homes have been restored by hand with a great deal of love and attention to detail. Their charming interiors and beautiful surrounds have been featured in a number of national magazines. Rates: $80 to $100+.

Stag Leap Country Inn
A 200-acre woodland, Stag Leap overlooks the deep Bonaldo Creek and has miles of lush nature trails winding throughout. A golf cart is provided for your enjoyment of nature's beauty. A TV, VCR, and movies are provided in each cabin. Children welcome. Rates: $120 to $160+.

Antlers Log Cabin: 3 guest rooms with 3 private baths, large airy living room/meeting room, wrap-around porches, full kitchen and gas grill, sun room, picturesque wooded setting overlooking creek, lovely English country decor, sleeps up to 20. Private. Great for retreats, reunions and meetings.

Stag Leap Guest House: Loft bedroom (sleeps 4) overlooking downstairs living room, glassed on upper deck and creekside for splended views, full kitchen, charcoal grill, hunter green & pine decor, private and wooded. You get the entire cabin, 1 bath, phone and stereo.

Doe Stowey: A private cottage surrounded by tall hickory trees, has ten-foot ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, bath with jacuzzi garden tub, bedroom with king size bed, sitting area and a gas log fireplace. Tall windows open to a covered porch and wrap-around deck with a charcoal grill and patio accommodations. Sleeps 2 or 4. A very romantic setting.

Bucks Head Cabin is a wonderful addition to Stag Leap Retreat.  This beautiful cabin features a king size bed, fireplace, jacuzzi, shower and TV/VCR.  French doors lead out on to a private patio.

Harts Landing is a lovely two bedroom, two bath, rustic cabin, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, TV, VCR, satellite, jacuzzi and much more. This cabin is perfect for a honeymoon or a small family looking for quality family time along with peace and quiet. The luxurious master suite is big and spacious, has its own private deck, and a romantic electric fireplace.

Deer Haven is perfect for a secluded get-away weekend or honeymoon. This one-bedroom (king-sized bed) sunny cottage is located on 5 acres surrounded by 2,000 wooded acres. Full kitchen, bath with shower/tub, fireplace and outdoor jacuzzi. Lovely wood decor. TV, VCR, satellite and stereo. Large patio with charcoal grill and outdoor patio furniture. Walking trails, badminton, basketball, horseshoes and bird watching. Two and a half miles from the Stag Leap setting.

The Brick House Inn
The Brick House is a two story, Federal Style home built in 1886 by Henry L. Austin. It is the oldest existing brick home in the oldest town in Texas. Refreshments will be served on arrival. No children. No pets. No smoking. Full breakfast served. Rates: $110 to $125 plus tax.

Located in the historical Washington Square district, across from the Old Nacogdoches University Building, The Inn at 418 is just a lazy stroll from the brick streets of downtown Nacogdoches.
